This unit takes each HD SDI output of the dual genlocked cameras and processes the image into a single stream viewable with a HDMI or DVI-D signal to any 3D monitor with passive polarized or shutter glasses, or in anaglyph to a 2D monitor.
The SB-1 outputs the pair of images via a single DVI/HDMI signal in interlaced for polarized viewing, or side-by-side configuration, both of which are common formats for 3D monitors. It can also output anaglyph Red/Cyan for viewing 3D with a standard 2D HD monitor. Both side-by-side and mirror/beam-splitter rigs are also supported with the latter via a built-in a vertical flip function.
